Going by previous Rockstar games, I expect GTAV to be released in Spring of 2013. Both RDR and GTAIV were released around the spring timeframe, so I think GTAV will be, as well.

I'll be generous and take the average = 5.38

GTA: Chinatown wars = DS + PSP sales = 2.03 ---> And the rest??

Face it CW was different than the Stories games. Try again.

the whole hardcore audience buys the hardcore games for the HD consoles for the graphics, and some people for the classic controls, provided Wii has a classic controller, having Ps3/Xbox360 graphics and HD display would dominate something like Ps2, every 3rd party game wouln't miss the Wii and those it gets wouldn't be as ugly and broken ports...

Wii missed the hardcore games and hardcorea sales cause of the graphics, and maybe a smaller part cause of the not as good online (although Mario Kart Wii has the best online on a console)

GTA V needs to be on WiiU and PsV at least, not Ps3/Xbox360 again, there's not much potential if they stick with the same consoles again... where WiiU and PsV innovation will add to the gamplay, 3DS is probaby the last platform there are considered (due to graphics)

GTAV needs to be on WiiU and PSV and not PS3 and 360? Sure if they want to sell less than half the amount they would on PS360, what a dumb thing to suggest ... you don't need a controller with a screen to add innovation ... ugh why am I even replying to this crpa, makes my head hurt.

right!! games that aren't on Wii, because of the graphics... and it is quite a lot of them...

sure Ps3/Xbox360 is commercially the best choice, but the series need something refreshing which would be great, and for god's sake, you can't add the same innovation by using just simple buttons as with using a combination of touch screen/motion/buttons

and if it makes your head hurt, it's because it's hard to think of an answer : P

What's innovation got to do with it? It'd just be an extra platform to port to... So much hate, it's funny and pathetic at the same time

That said I believe DS appeals more to your typical 'gamer' as I know a lot of people swear down the DS is amazing (actually I don't hear much to the contry) but don't rate the Wii at all.

It's a perfect argument because it disproves the people who claimed that the game sold poorly because it was on DS. You can't get a better empirical comparison than that.

Audiences go where the games are. If the games go somewhere, and the games are actually good and not just bastardized versions of the games (critical point for all the people who like to point at the bastardized stuff that ends up on Nintendo platforms and like to make their "Get over it. End of." assertions, as if they somehow have closer visions of reality than the rest of us), then the audience will follow. How many franchises have migrated successfully between platforms as exclusives (like Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter this gen), despite all the whining to the contrary?
