Forums - Gaming - so i beat Batman Arkham City last night.. dont read if u havent beat it might spoil it for ya lol

and i loved every bit of it. i see why they gave it a 10/10 in the newest gameinformer.. how the story went was just amazing.. great fights and tough challenges to get into certain places and playing with catwoman was pretty fun, wish there was more of that tho.. and wish there was more robin in the game! but overall i loved it. and i think there will be another batman.. just have that feeling...

tell me what yall think about batman!!!!

I liked Batman: AC but the story was very very bad ...

Too much characters who are mainly useless... don't bring anything to the story... I was disappointed!
There are characters that we see only twice in the game, that's just disappointing...

I would prefer less characters but a bigger background for each character !

I waited for other thing, not better, just anything else... and the story was very disappointing so several times, I get boring ...

The memories that I'll remember of this game:
1°) Combat improves, just amazing !
2°) Playing as Catwoman, the animation, see her walk, etc... that was good :P

agreed, characters coulda been used more often in the game but i think they did that for a reason to bring us another game which will involve those characters bc joker died.. but could always be a trick or something.. they better put another one out.. to good of a game to not bring out another.. but def more catwoman lol! i would also like to see a co-op campaign.. you and a friend play as batman and robin but some of the missions u work alone but it still ties to the story and such.. it would be fun.. why include robin but not get to play with him in the story?

I didn't read any posts in this thread.

I got Batman AA on the 15th so I could beat it before AC came out.  I did--then I got hooked on tracking down the Riddler puzzles (which I already did on PS3).  I got Arkham City on launch, was blown away by its awesomenss--became Batman, and went back to playing Arkham Asylum.  Then, I started Arkham City all over again (this time with Catwoman DLC), got blown away by its awesomeness, and went back to playing Arkham Asylum again (this time, the free Game of the Year version).  It's like I'm afraid of how awesome Arkham City is so I keep avoiding it.  I guess I just need to put everything aside and dive balls deep into the game before I see some spoilers.

Game looks great but i probably won't be getting it maybe when its 30 bucks

I would give this game a 10/10 even though there were some things I didn't like about the story.

First off, who in the hell would approve a facility like Arkham City!?

How in the hell would street traffic work if it were still a part of Gotham?

And how in the hell did they establish that area so quickly? They kicked everybody out and sealed the area off? Including the Gotham Police dept., movie theaters, and an amusement park?

And if it's just a mile or so from the rest of Gotham, swimming, why hasn't everybody escaped, yet?

And in the end, when all of those helicopters were killing everybody in the city, why didn't Batman just take out the choppers? He let a thousand people get killed while he looked for access codes!!

And how in the hell did every villain in Gotham wind up in Arkham at that precise moment? Joker, Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze, Two Face, Penguin, Dead Shot, Bane, Clayface, Black Mask, Ras Al Ghul (which really made me say WTF!? This guy should be in Arabia or something!) Catwoman (who LIVES IN ARKHAM CITY!?), Solomon Grundy, etc. What the hell?

And how about all of the announcements over the P.A. system where Hugo Strange spoke directly to Batman and called him "Mister Wayne'? Nobody else heard this? He had a staff of a thousand guys!!

And yet, despite all of this, I was able to suspend my disbelief and enjoy the game more than any other game I've played this year. I looked across the harbor and saw Arkham Asylum in the distance and I said out loud, "This is awesome."   I will gladly pay for the Robin and Nightwing DLC and I'm hoping for a ton of costumes, Huntress, Batgirl, Spoiler, Azrael, and more!  Oh, and I HATED Robin's voice.  Doesn't sound anything like any Robin I've ever heard and definitely not the Tim Drake I've read in the comics.  He sounds kinda dumb, actually.

Next game should feature Deathstroke as the main villain. He's the only one that can go toe to toe in combat, outsmart, and out strategize Batman. It should include the entirety of Gotham City (Before, I hated the idea of an open world--now, I want MORE!) and the whole Bat-Family should be involved.

I think the Arkham City premise was a bit of a rip-off of the "No Man's Land" storyline from the late 90's. In that story, Gotham was rocked by an earthquake, and a virus outbreak and the U.S. government basically said, "Fuck 'em." Gotham was cut off from the rest of the country and nobody was allowed to come in. And those that stayed in (including Gotham PD, and a few citizens that wanted to stay) weren't allowed to leave. In that storyline, the villains of Gotham divided up the city and marked their territory with "tags". By the time the story was over, Batman had taken out all of the villains and the whole city was Batman Territory (and Lex Luthor was behind the whole "Gotham is No Man's Land" thing).

I would LOVE to see that storyline made into a game. It would probably not be possible but still, one can dream!

I rented it so I couldn't play as Catwoman.

The game was good, but I was a little annoyed with the structure of the objectives was annoying (if I'm describing that right). I was a little annoyed with "Okay, here's what I have to do... Oh wait, now something just happened so now I have to do all of this other stuff before I can go back to doing this."
