If that could happen after TP got an 8.8, what would happen if Skyward Sword got an 8, or (god forbid) lower? I think the internet would actually explode. 

Anyway, back to the thread. I doubt they'll be any more reviews this week (don't normally come out on a weekend) but I'll keep an eye out anyway, and, of course, update the thread if one or more do! For now I need to chase down my dog in order to get a new profile pic

I expect all of you to be reasonable when and if Skyward Sword gets a few reviews that are lower than you like. If anyone starts this whole "OMG [reviewer] is worthless and was always worthless, what a piece of shit website/magazine/podcast/blog" then I am going to be bitterly disappointed.

These are Zelda fans. 

It doesn't look like OoT, and is new, ergo, it will be terribly received (like, 95 on Metacritic! OMFG!)

It's not Uncharted 3. People have reasonable expectations.

Zelda fans are among the most insane and entitled fans of anything on the internet.

I'm throwing words against the wall in hopes that something will stick but I have no real illusions.

Yeah, I'm fearing the worst as well...

...but we can hope, right? I mean, early reviews have been incredibly positive, but people refused to believe it (ONM are incredibly Nintendo biased, EDGE were paid off etc.), then 9/10 was too low a score etc.

It seems that, for Zelda fans, there really is no happy intermediate.
