Well, whats been confusing me for a long time is why does 4 equals to 80?

I think a lot of site doesn't use .5 on their review so if they scored it 4 it will illustrate to 80 on meta critic. Anyway I am alywas under the impression that 4 is always equals to 9 or 90. I hope someone explains it to me because I am really confuse. LOL

Multiplies the score by 2 .

3 = 6
3.5 = 7
4 = 8
4.5 = 9
5 = 10

Oh That's a nice explanation.

but it's still unfair though if some site doesn't use the .5 and only based the score into 1,2,3,4 or 5 system even though a 4 for them and their written review screams 9 Meta-critic will still scores it an 80. I think a I read a rant from some sites about this topic just can't remeber when and I can't remember the name of the site also.

ok and what do you think what a 70% game gets? this could get 4/5 as well you know? so the average of 4/5 will be 80%. ok i bet most who will give uncharted 4/5 mean something like 80-90 and not 70-80 but we don't know that and since every good game which get's a 4/5 would get like 80-90 if they wouldn't have the 5 star system it's fair. but yeah the 5 star system isn't the best without half stars. they could just write a review without a score that makes more sense than giving a 70% game the same score as a 90% game

For me Batman is a really AWESOME game... but to compare use this: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/batman-arkham-city/critic-reviews

There a lot more reviews in 360 version... the PS3 version just received the 10's reviews.

Watched the G4 review, sounded like they just had something against Uncharted 3.
It's not better than Uncharted 2, It's not better than Uncharted 2, The boat level looks nice, It's not better than Uncharted 2,,,
