I hope you're not joking as the Charlie Chaplin speach truly made me think and self reflect.
If you're not joking then you're welcome!

haha don't worry not joking, I know when it's appropriate to joke about stuff

It isnt showing Americas hipocracy. So many reasons why.
1) IF any of these people being arrested are being so in an unjust way, then that is not Americas policy. It is not policy to arrest people for no reason to scare away peoples freedoms. There is no grand conspiracy to turn America into a dictatorship or a communist system which does not allow free speech, no matter how interesting and hipster-ish edgy it may be to believe in something like that.
2) harassing a police officer, disrupting the peace, noise ordinances, disobeying a police officer, blocking traffic are all arrestable offenses. These people are idiots whom are arguing for the sake of argument. They want the police to react, and the police have every right to.
The occupy wallstreet movement believers would tell you that the purpose of what they are doing is to identify, amplify and possibly eliminate corporate greed of large corporations. The only problem is they have no reason for doing so. They are trying to show corporate greed But their main goals seem to be pissing off local cops, in order for the cops to react.
If the cops react, then they must be controlled by the huge corporations right? The police must only care about the 1% of America who is apart of this corporate greed right?
what a bunch of week minded bullshit. Popular media has known about corporate greed and has been talking about ways to solve these issues for years. Anything would be more powerful than what these people are doing.
These people are just.. in the way. and no amount of chopped up fragmented videos with a laughable premise will change any rational persons mind.
back to video games people!

Madness? This is SPARTA!
The police do indeed have a right to arrest people if invoked, but a good portion are actually abusing their powers and beating detained defenseless civilians.

A lot of these kids , college student just want to be part of something, and maybe even like to rebel. Why make so much trouble? Go somewhere else and protest if the police ask you to move. Right? I have seen though, that if the police do not show a presence, things usually do not get out of control. |
Ya, the thing is why do things get out of hand with the police, I want to actually go to a protest and see things unfold for myself, but none of my friends want to >.>
