Pretty high. I like the idea of having a handheld that I can carry around the house with all of my games installed on the system. I won't have to worry about lugging around any UMDs or discs with me. That's prett cool.

I'm not so much interested in the consoles games ported to the Vita, I'm more interested in the games created from the ground up for the Vita. With those games included, I'm sure there's also gonna be 'mini' games. I see no reason why a game like angry birds or other 3rd party games won't be on the system. Plus the fact that it's not just limited to a touch screen like the ipod; I also have analog sticks & buttons.

My hype for the system is pretty high. I may actually swicth to gaming mainly on the Vita due:
A.) to the games made for the system,
B.) the 3rd party 'mini' games,
AND C.) my current PS3 games (by streaming games through my PS3) just for convenience.

Can't wait

Not much of a fail when Sony and developers have called the Vita a portable PS3.

then you haven't been paying attenion to anything on this system huh

so the opinion of one developer on a certain type of experience possible on vita shall influence you opinion on the entire system and it's MANY offerings ....... sad, really really sad

In the end it comes down to games. The games on the Vita are PS3 style games which I'd rather play on my PS3.

4/10 (meh level), it used to be 8/10 when they first announced it back in January but then it was all down hill from there. Especially after TGS. The only game I want is Ragnarok Odyssey. It'll probably be the first PlayStation console that I don't buy at launch. =/ It all depends on what the western line up is like.

Right now, 6/10. My hype meter would be higher if they showed some higher profile 1st party franchises (Y NO GT???).

The games coming are very enticing. PS3/360 ports could be a good or bad thing, but as long as indies are working on the Vita, there won't be shortage of handheld style games. My biggest hyped game o the Vita, other than Uncharted, is probably LBP. So long as Tarsier doesn't fuck it up, it will probably sell me a Vita. The PSN integration, and social features also seem very deep ad interesting. Now they just need to confirm trophies (if they haven't already).

Now for the bad news. First off, why didn't Sony put any flash memory on it. We all know they will push it as a multimedia device, as well as gaming machine. What's the point if I have to buy memory cards? Also why memory cards?? Why not MicroSD? Are they that cheap? Not trying to troll, but come on. I'd rather Sony not try to nickel-and-dime us like that.

I think one of the best things about vita so far is, how many new IPs have been announced for it already. Not only that, even those who are using IPs familiar in the home console arena, are being used but in different unique ways to take full advantage of the PSV capabilities. good examples for it would be Uncharted, LBP and Wipeout.

the sad thing is tho, as with the argument in the above post, people seem to be hanging on to this misconception of only having ps3 like games on the system...I wish more people would join us in the official thread and they will see how wrong they are. I swear i see at least 1 person every week who still thinks Golden Abyss is Uncharted 1 port >_>

Trophies are confirmed! ;)

and LBP Vita looks brilliant! have you seen the new gameplay videos for it? I honestly think LBP as a franchise suits psv better with all the input possibilities. fingers crossed for a great final product.

and I'm certain we will get a GT for Vita..chances are PD are already working on it. my bet would be E3 2012 reveal.
