Ok, file this under don't attempt to close your checking account at any bank where there is a protest going on.  This video is now up on YouTube.  Apparently 99%ers attempted to close their checking accounts in protest, and got arrested.  A woman goes in to, what looks like the same, to close here checking account, and half a dozen police haul her away and arrest her.  The short of it?  Don't attempt to close a checking account during a day of protest...

Of course it seems that way, cause like EVERY one of these videos, it starts as they are getting arrested.  Not, before/while they stormed in the bank and caused whatever ruckus they caused.

You had a bank on edge and they got out of control.  Basic bit of wisdom is to think about when you do something.  I think the 99% protesters would also need to think about when to withdraw, maybe not at once.  Go, get the money out at various times.  After the money is out and closed, say you are part of the 99% and leave.

Yep, produce a nice slow run on the bank, as word of this gets out.
