the problem with the rain is that although it drives well it doesnt look good, look at rain in nfshp2 its all faked even the splashes thats what pd should have done

also v8 superstars has amazing rain look ace again all faked effects

but its the day night weather that makes gt5 best this new track also has it and it looks amazing, clear smooth and crisp all together looking more real than any other racer

il be skipping on dlc, ive never bought any theres no point



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

I'm not saying GT5 looks like an N64 game, pay attention sport! But the 2D cut-out trees are ridiculous in a game of this stature. Pop-up (or pop-in, whatever you guys call it) is also disappointing.

now who's not paying attention....

 the Nurb. has the more tress and sceenery than any other track in GT5, spot the 2d trees and pop ins and you have a point

I really don't care. I was talking about the video posted in the OP and commented the lighting looks fantastic but the foliage looks laughably bad. Agree or disagree, I don't care. But I would assume a game of this stature where the sole purpose is to be a as realistic as possible wouldn't have trees that remind of the N64 days.

Again not really an argument... unless you genuinely believe I am talking about another video in which case I'd advice you to stop discussing entirely.

But hey, I guess it can be a matter of opinion, but fact is most trees are 2D cut-outs and that's not something you often still see lately. Like I said, reminds me of the goold old days.

You don't happen to be religious by any chance? You seem to be the only one in the universe denying GT5 has 2D trees. Most GT5 fans acknowledge it but don't care, but you seem to be in serious denial.
