That's why I always tell you that you shouldn't listen to so-called industry insiders, because their incontinence knows no boundaries.

The problem is if you want a story you don't wait for the news sites to break it. You don't wait to see the bias of the gaming media you go straight to the source. As a gaming journalist I made connections in the games industry and on Twitter I added tons of developers and yah some game media.

I'd rather hear my news from people who actually work in the industry then second hand from a game media organization. This is the first time I know of where I have been mislead. But honestly the developers and some members of the media were also mislead.

The fact is Activision and Sony Pictures lied in their interview. Calling a 360/PS3 game next generation isn't just stretching the truth its a complete utter lie. Unfortunately I don't have any contacts in Activision at the moment and I'm not following any on Twitter. So I got my info from developers from other companies.

Plus my contacts and following industry insiders has lead to me breaking stories before anyone else here on VGChartz and in fact sometimes even before the story is brought to the public at all. I know within this last month I beat every single gaming site to at least three stories which appeared here on VGChartz forum first.

The reason I site sources often is if a source other then the official press release and twitter statement is available I choose the site that is most reputable and use it as the source.

But no industry insiders can be very insightful I'd take what multiple Nintendo employees tell me over what a fan on VGChartz or another journalist says on another site any day. The insiders are the ones who actually make games and market them and such.

I appreciate that you try to bring us news stories as fast as possible, especially the Nintendo related stuff, because aside from dedicated Nintendo websites the gaming media doesn't care all that much about Nintendo. But you should have figured that this Men in Black game can't be a Nextbox/PS4 title based on the screenshots you posted, because they don't look impressive at all.

By the way, you need to work on your punctuation. The missing comma after the second word in the last paragraph is especially damning. There are other instances where a comma wouldn't hurt, but this one really matters, because it changes the meaning.

Thanks for the appreciation. I wasn't actually all that surprised by the screenshots as they look like something you'd expect from Activision on WiiU. Since I expect Nex-Box and PS4 to be powered only slightly more powerful next generation then WiiU it didn't ring any bells that the screens didn't look dramatically improved over anything on 360/PS3. I also thought since all the consoles are still in pre-beta development that screens using an early build of the next generation consoles wouldn't blow current gen out of the park.

You'll note I actually posted a screen from Square's next generation engine which shows what we can expect in next gen games in another thread. It is definitely impressive but how much further can we realistically go graphically next generation? I really don't expect to see any graphical leap like we have in past generations the technology simply isn't there and the cost of producing technology anywhere close to the level of advancement in past generations would be extremely expensive.

As for my grammar you know I suck with grammar. When I actually write professional articles I edit them in word prior and usually have a fellow writer or editor read them over first to ensure they are the best quality possible. But on a forum I don't go to those lengths so you get to see my raw work. That being said I am constantly working to improve my grammatical skills as well as my threads and topics which I post. Constructive criticism is always welcomed!
