me it's funny it's not as much on the gaming side I am excited it is on all the rest.... and for that I know already nintendo is out of the picture.... I mean it might be a great gaming console even maybe the best of the 3..... but there is no chance they can offer what the other 2 can afford to offer...
now that said we have sony on one side a hardware giant.... and MS on the other side a software giant.... wait the biggest of all.... and if the next one of any of these come in 2013 we are talking about a platform that will last until 2020 minimum imagine what those 2 giant have to pull out of there asses to be still a major leader on their respective markets....

How are we suppose to know! Not heard anything on 720 and PS4 yet ...

only excited for MS or Sony consoles which there isnt much news atm

this gen i feel wasnt as exciting as last either that or its just the time that has gone by ex. GTA4 let down still no sequel, lot of other of my fav. past series went downhill NFS, RE, and extreme sports in general, lot of corner cutting in game developing in general to get the games to even run on these consoles, and things havent progressed as much as i liked AI, gameplay, graphics, and overall story telling

i definitely want some powerful stuff next gen i wouldn't mind if consoles became more like PCs ie. having games have graphical settings, performance add ons for consoles like ram and upgraded gpu's even if it meant bigger consoles.

i would also like to see the next MS and sony consoles have at least 4GB of ram

if bethesda/bioware will be around yes.

if they wont il get the consoles but stick to dota 2.

I am excited for the Wii U, and I am going to buy the next playstation for sure as I always do. I hope Sony can launch a console as good as the PS2.
