Big game 1 win for the Flyers!

I saw the Penguins score 3 in the first switched to Detroit-Nash and thought it was all over. Terrible collapse by the penguins. Good for you though. But I think next game the Pittsburgh is in for a beating. Or at least I hope so as I want a long series.

Even as a flyers fan I find it tough to see us taking both games from shittsyburgh.  What team are you pulling for choco?

I think Vancouver because I have watched them be really good for several years versus the Avs. I like Chicago for their speedy style and high scoring for a Western conference team, but I am not as familiar with their team as the Canucks. The avs and canucks rivalry has been cold for at least four years and the only team I like to see lose is Detroit.           Good luck to the flyers as there appears to be a couple eastern fans finally posting in here.

What did I say? I told you all LA was going to beat Vancouver. Of course this is just 1 game, but they proved they can do it...on the road no less.

I rage quit that game so hard, threw a temper tantrum and played Xenoblade for the second period.  My roommate coaxed me into watching the 3rd period.  Thankfully I did, what a finish.  

That was a good game I am shocked. I beat Vancouver fans are already wondering about Roberto Loungo and thinking Shneider should play. Of course it is one game.

I have to see after seeing a lot of all three games both the Western games were more physical than the Philadelphia-Pittsburgh bout and to me made them more exciting. Predators checked hard and were physical through out. The LA-Vancouver game got the most heated quickly and should stay on fire.

Once again just happy that Satan's army was dropped by Nashville.

Yeah LA is really a great team when they can score. The announcer during the game read some stats that during the season LA lost 8 games by a score of 1-0, and something around 15 games by a score of 2-1. So defense/goaltending clearly isn't a problem. If they can keep putting up 3+ goals per game they could make it really deep in the playoffs. And with guys like Dustin Brown, Mike Richards and Drew Doughty they are very physical! Richards smoked that pussy Burrows at the end of last game! 

And I agree, LA and Nashville are both easily more physical than east teams like Philly and Shittsburgh. 

Lol and I'm not as happy as you that the Red Wings lost. I do like Nashville, but I prefer the Wings. I hope Weber gets some discipline for his stupid actions against Zetterberg at the end of the game. I'm a big Weber fan but what he did was pretty disgusting and gutless.

CBC has the worst play-by-play and colour announcers I've ever heard in my life. Only person I can tolerate is Jim Hughson. Kevin Weekes especially though, oh my god... I'd rather listen to the American feeds than this crap.

At least TSN has been in top form since getting rid of Pierre Mcguire.
