It makes me happy to see the Leafs play off chances crushed. I hope Dallas doesn't make it either.

Practically a perfect night in West for me. Avalanche get another shot out win. Really a phenomenal job all year by the shooters Milan Hejduk, Matt Duchene (when healthy) and an even better job from goalie Semyon Varlimov. The Sharks also loss keeping them from surpassing the avs, oh yeah!

Apparently, things happened out East, but I am mostly oblivious to it all.

Also it appears Amp has abandoned the thread so i might have to whore his name out soon.

Living in Vancouver, this was my stanley cup game tonight - Yea I want my canadiens to lose and get a good draft pick, but beating down vancouver just feels way too good.

The only think that'll make me happy is Minnesota winning all remaining games. Big game against Calgary today, because, mathematically, we're still in contention I believe.

You got to have those moral victories every once in awhile. I guess you get bragging rights now living in Vancouver? I enjoyed it too, but down the stretch I would not mind seeing Vancouver take it for it has been so long for any Canadian team to do it. i sit here wondering though if it would mean an automatic riot in the streets like last year. Did you experience the riot or were you away from the downtown area?

Definantly on your side tonight against Calgary as they are currently more of a threat to Colorado's playoff chances in the Northwest. Minnesota is certainly in the must win position every game. Cool when fans do not completely just give up on their losing teams.

Another big game for me to watch will be LA and the Hawks. It seems both the Avs and Wild would be favored to move up by seeing LA lose. Not to mention I just like to see Chicago play when Hossa, Kane, Sharp, and Teows are on, one of them allways seems to do some magic for a fun game.

Well, there's always next year.

Wasn't downtown at the time but watched a lot of it unfold... just a huge embarassment. Could it happen again under the same circumstances? Probably. But no way the city will allow it - either they won't host any events downtown (especially on the streets) or they'll employ a massive security force that would be able to stop any riot. I'm guessing they'll take the cheaper option.

Yea I've heard this same trash talk year after year, but I sleep like a baby at night knowing the playoff collapse is coming. You better believe I'll be enjoying that.
