I give him 7 games, but then he is going to trip on the puck and be out for half the playoffs. I also think he will score a lot of points before he injures himself.

Well seeing as how the hit that re-aggravated his concussion was a minor elbow to the head (not even a hit, just incidental contact) I've gotta think the first solid hit he takes puts him out for the rest of the season, and if he ever takes a hit of Kronwallian proportions it could even be a career ender.

I'd put it at first round of the playoffs before he gets re-injured.

In all seriousness, a true fan of hockey would never want to see that happen. The worst thing is with every concussion the likelyhood of it happening again becomes greater so I agree with you that he is at a high risk factor for a carrer ender. One thing is for sure, guys that are prone to injury so early in their carrer usually remain that way and consequently have a short-lived-one.

Maybe, if you are right as you mentioned earlier in the thread that Malkin can flourish more with the other great talent to slow him down. The Penguins certainly seem to still be in high gear.

He just stopped having headaches a couple days ago, and now they want to throw him in sunday against the Bruins? Seems way too risky. I would keep him off until the last week or two of the season.
