6AM start... So I just watched on iPlayer skipping some parts, but still a good race

Hopefully next year somebody can properly challenge Vettel, but this year has still been by far the most exciting that I have watched, for next year they just need to tweak some of the tyre rules (to make sure that they actually put their all into qualifying) and some DRS zones need adjusting

was a 2 am start for me, I literally crashed the moment the press conference was done

and amen to the second part, Vettel and Red Bull have absolutely dominated this season, not ever NOT being on pole. Hoping McLaren, Ferrari, and especially Mercedes  step it up next season, the smaller teams stand no chance, and Williams, well seeing their performance as of late you'd never suspect they were once a dominate force in F1 which is really sad to see.

I stick by my stance on screw DRS and KERS, preying for the days of F1 returning to the days natural skilled passes

also wish BMW, Toyota, Honda would make a return.....damn economy

I would definitely keep DRS, I am not so sure about KERS, since they all use it at the same time, and it never really has that much impact. The thing is, whilst some circuits to present many overtaking oportunities, some don't and that is where DRS can help, but I think it is actually less important than tyres in causing the huge number of overtakes this year

Valencia .... shivers

I actually went to a race at Valencia, and not only was the race dull, but there was a bridge, meaning we couldn't see the cars for more than about half a second at a time, and it was stupidly hot, though we did see Alonso once he had crashed

lol, seriously though what a boring circut that needed to be ditched a decade ago

With only 4 GPs raced there, it's hard to have ditched it ten years ago.

that's the point fuck that track, it's never been interesting, made for some of the most boring GP's ever in F1.....and they already had a Spanish GP with a far more capable and interesting cricut

I'm not a Sebastian Vettel fan but he deserved to win this year, his sure pace against Webber has been very good. Next year, Felipe Massa needs to be dropped, I would love to see either Kamui Kobayashi or Sergio Perez in Ferrari next year but it won't happen.

Here is what I hope for, Schumacher to be dropped (he's doing well at the moment but I can guarantee he will struggle next), Paul di Resta and Sergio Perez in higher teams (they are both talented drivers maybe championship contenders in two years time, Felipe Massa needs to stop blaming Lewis Hamilton for his decline and finally someone new to win a race, 2009 was the last time we saw a debut winner (Mark Webber).

Vettel deserved to be F1 champ again :)

Well I think there is talk of only having 1 GP in Spain, though they might alternate between Barcelona and Valencia, like they are doing in Germany between Hockenheim and Nurbergring. Given how many new circuits seem to be added, and so far only Turkey has been dropped, it is likely that unnecessary GPs will be dropped

I'm pretty sure Valencia is going to be in the 2012 schedule.....unfortunately

Well I am not sure it is going to last too long with Russia joining the line up

A good race, well deserved win from Button and the McLaren team.

I have found this season that I have more appreciation for those that drive out of their skin to get a good result. Button in his Canadian win was exceptional, Di Resta, first season in pulling in some good results and the Renaults from early season results. I feel the Vettel approach of win pole, get out in front, stay out in front is dull and boring and why even though he won, less time has been spent covering him then the McLarens, Ferraris and his own team mate as they battled for 2nd place.

I agree btw, KERS and DRS, should be removed, Button who the championship on pure engineering skill and great driving (see Brazil of that year). I also think you should be able to defend your position, dangerous or not, if you cause an error you'll still get a drive through or penalty next race.

Hmm, pie.
