Yeah it seems like they didnt really do anything in Europe like they did over here in the States. I dont know, but do retailers ever do gift card promotions in Europe? They were huge this year in the US.

Could you change the record, please? It gets really tireome that every post of yours ends with "pricecut"
Here is a little info about "pricecuts" - looking at prices (which include all store margins and taxes, start of December prices - current prices):
PS3 160G $229 - $259
PS3 320G Move bundle $289 - $329
PS3 320G Plain Silver box $333
XBox 250G bundle (incl. 2-3 games) $199 - $199
XBox 250G Kinect bundle (Box, Kinect, 3 games, 3month free Live) $289 - $259
Standalone Kinect bundle $139 - $99
As you can see, PS3 prices actually INcreased, while XBox stuff is sold at a (considerable) loss to MS. No surprise that more XBoxes are sold than PS3s currently over here.

I wasn't aware you were privy to the actual manufacturing costs of the 360. It is highly unlikely they are making a loss at all and certainly not considerable given the length of time since their last price cut. In fact it is almost certain that sony are losing more money on hardware than Microsoft.

Any proof?

XBox 250G Kinect bundle (Box, Kinect, 3 games, 3month free Live) $289 - $259
Where could I buy these? Or are you just mixing up €,$ and GBP? Where can I get the Holiday Bundle?

1st off no doubt MS has been working more with retailers in the US giving them incentives to promote and the 360.
2nd Kowenicki was referring to Europe anyway.
3rd Where did you get this information. Although the 360 has been far more promoted the PS3 has had discounts as well and I cant recall anywhere that the PS3 160GB had its price raised to $259.99.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
Funny someone claiming MS sells it's hardware at a considerable loss, seeing how for the past 2 years they've had a killer 8 quarters of revenue/profit.

There are some good deals for x360 in uk (amazon) and MS had a small cut the price too (matte 250GB model which is now cheaper than the PS3 160GB in germany and uk and maybe in other europe countries).
I think there will be some big adjustments for Dec 2011. Either VGChartz underestimated Xbox deals/Kinect boost in europe and X360 wins 2011 or they underestimated PS3 price cut and PS3 wins 2011.
