Kinect is no where near the force it was last holiday. Yes, it will be force in America, but that's it.

Kinect is not its own console and it is most definitely not selling like one. Even the Gamecube didn't have any weeks below 20k until it was pretty much on its way out. It's effectively dead in Europe and the price drop in Spain and Australia basically had almost no effect. And it's only in a slightly better situation in America.

I still think Sony will win, but barely.

I think the Kinect has lost its appeal as the new "toy" and it won't be that much of a factor in 360's sales this holiday season. Dance Central 2 might be the only game coming out for Kinect that will push its sales for the rest of the year.

This will be difficult for MS to do. They have made the claim that they will be #1 world wide in sales so that means they are very confident about something and factors that we have not see transpire yet. As it stands I don't see MS catching up and being #1, unless there is some kind of price cut very soon or a major addition/factor to the X360 platform that they know will be wildly popular. I guess we will just have to wait and see. X360, however is poised to have a very good holiday season in sales, but I don't see it being enough unless a major factor occurs very soon.

Regardless, they're trying in Europe and other places (like Brazil, which they've stated they plan to overcome PS3 in Latin America with) and they likely won't 'win' there but they can see good growth.

I'm obessed with your obessession of thinking Kinect is going to be more than an American force. The 360 is going to do well in America, record numbers I might say, but it stops there. The PS3 will be right behind it as always if not in front World Wide.
