I have been enjoying shooters a lot more than I used to. Before the PS3, I really only played WWII ones, like Medal of Honor, but my tastes have broadened. I'm actually enjoying Section 8: Prejudice right now (well, I was before my PS3 died).

RPGs, followed by a huge space of nothing, then Shooter, Platformer and Action pretty much on same level. Randomly I also play Simulation and Strategy. Racing and Sports aren't my type.

I'm surprised to see no love for Simulation, though. Playing Simcity 4 right now.

RPGs. MMORPGs are probably my favorite followed by JRPGs and then the rest.

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

There's also not a lot of clear cut genres nowadays, since games are fusing elements of one with another, like action-RPGs and the like.
