We reckon these shots must have been snapped from a pretty high-end PC because they look absolutely spectacular, perhaps even photorealistic in places.

Check out the shot in the car park in particular. The subtleties of that sophisticated DICE lighting really shine through.

DICE went on the defensive again earlier today over the Battlefield 3 beta, which has split opinion among gamers.

The studio has said that the final game will look, play and sound better than the beta.
