Haha, I see it as a battle of which team screws up the least.

Funny this thread has so much Broncos talk as of late when they are a bad team.

Indeed. About half of the people who post regularly in this thread seem to be Broncos fans. The other half favors one of the NFC North teams.

Your advantage as thread creator is that your not from the US so you are more of an NFL fan rather than being a fan of one team first and the rest of the league secondly.

Your right, I hardly pay attention this year because my team stands no chance so it does not matter as much to me who else is doing good. Once the season is near an end that will change because no matter what the team the playoffs are always fun to watch.

Also I am not even close to an NFC fan for the reasons you mentioned and local networks always broadcast AFC games more often. I actually do not like most NFL teams though as they all have some history with Denver that makes me not favor them.

By the way, do you have to stream the games of the internet or does some sport channel have NFL games in Austria? I hate streaming games of the internet because it gave my comp viruses during the rugby world cup. It got so bad I will never illegally stream sports again.

If only more people were hockey fans here I could really get discussion going since I follow a lot more games in that sport. Plus, I know the game a lot more.

Pay-TV offers ESPN America HD, the Super Bowl is the only game on free TV. I don't feel like paying, because in order to get the NFL I would also need to pay for other stuff I am not interested in, so I settled for internet streams even though they can be terrible at times.

Most of the good sports streaming sites are in Europe I noticed as the US does everything they can to protect copyright laws. Streaming online to watch foreign sports is almost a necessity since it costs a lot to order sports services. I am not about to pay $30  for a single game. So I am all for it.

I surprised you authored this thread Rol. I kind of knew you liked the Bears but I didn't take you for a die hard NFL fan. I am almost bored of USA football myself and I might try and start watching more of the sport I used to love to play the most (soccer aka football for everyone else). Almost all professional sports have pissed me off now considering there is little to no team loyalty and everyone seems like a money grubbing whining little bitch (except Tom Brady). Anyways, grats to the NFL to throw fines like crazy for helmet to helmet hits and then releasing NFL hardest hits videos.

Yeah, I like the Bears...

I am quite sure you've read my profile status when you posted on my wall, so that's where this is coming from.

Yea, I did just see that but I think I remember you talking about them last season also.  I used to be a Bears fan back during the late 80s / early 90s.  My favorite player was Mike Singletary.  Walter Payton was a complete bad ass also.  I actually bought an old card of his recently.  I gave up on the Bears during the mid 90s though considering they could never find a good quarterback or running back.  Their defense fell to shit to in the 90s I believe also.  I loved playing as the Bears in Tecmo Bowl Super Bowl (NES) considering you could play as Mike Singletary and Walter Payton.

Yes, I talked a lot about them last season too. There was a good reason for it, but it was not because I like them. How could I? It's against the first rule of NFL fandom: You shall not be a glowing fan of two teams that play in the same division.

Ah, so what team do you like?  The Packers?  My dad grew up in Wisconsin and is a cheesehead.

Yes, the Packers. There really isn't anything else in the NFC North.

You are correct on that one.  Nice to see the Lions actually able to compete in the NFL again.  They have been pretty much shit since they lost Barry Sanders.

my live game tonight is pittsburgh against baltimore

sounds like it should be good

No way they had a long, long run of glory it is time for some new blood to have a chance at victory.
