after the numbers for the launch week of gears of war 3 come in, i realize that console themed hardware is a greater incentive for people to buy a console that i originally expect. so, since i am thinking of buying a second PS3 (to give my old 60gb fat a rest and to save a little in my electric bill) and this is a good time for that (after the price cut) a themed uncharted PS3 would seal the deal for me... would do it for you too?

Yes. Uncharted devs have brilliant artists, there would be no way the console would have had a bad design.

lol you don't know my story so i can forgive you... i will have a second room in my house (type of a fun room) where i will have my PC, will buy a 3D screen and will buy a new PS3 for it (its so cheap now, comparing to what i pay back in 2007)... and in my living room i will have my current PS3 to view BR and play some games that i don't want to play in the smaller 3d screen... its in different floors so i will not carry my PS3 around. and if it holds, my fat 60gb with BC can be a very rare machine in the future. could sell it for 10000$, in say, 20 years, to a crazy collector. a man can dream. LOL

the one that i would love to have is the darksiders white limited edition (10 units) but a uncharted PS3 could make me forget the darksiders one.

If it was bundled in a way which would make it cheaper for the whole package and my ps3 broke yes, otherwise no.
