I choose always the System I want has nothing yo do at all with the manufacturer.

GB SNES PS1 N64 DC GC PS2 PS3 next is going to be PS4/Xbox 720 at launch maybe a 360.

If I could have persuaded my mom at launch of the Saturn I would have gotten it before PS1. Virtua Fighter was the first 3D I saw that impressed me a lot. Sadly my mom thought I had enough stuff already.

I have no favorite manufacturer just favorite consoles. And if Nintendo or MS would had released the PS3 I would have bought it. Without BR I would probably have bought the 360. I wanted a BR Player mainly and wasnt even looking for a console. I almost never played games back then. But the PS3 got me playing again.

If MS or Nintendo made the ps3 with the exact same specs, features, reliability, price and games then yes I would have still bought it, but that is simply impossible, MS doesn't even have the devs to make the game and they could of never made it as reliable as it is and Nintendo would have made Mario and Zelda games and probably never made anything like Infamous, though really thinking about it if Nintendo made the ps3 I think I would have preferred that to ps3 under Sony assuming they didn't abandon the hardcore like they did with the wii and made hardcore zelda and mario and games like folklore and got sega to put yakuza on it ect.
