PS3 price cut effect is over.

O_o PS3 sales the week before price cut: 58K. PS3 sales this week: 74K

Difference = 27.5% up

Seems like price cut effect is still very much... er... in effect.

Wow I thought 360 would be first in europe this week. Will it ever be again? Excellent sales from America though.

What Bulletstorm couldn't do to Killzone 3, Dead Island has done to Resistance 3. A pity for R3, but hopefully it's sales will trickle along for a year or 2 somewhere just outside the top 40.

Edit: I meant to add that I'm not surprised PS3 still sold more than 360 this week. But I thought 360 was in with a chance of selling more, and it came close. It was really Middle East Asia and Africa that kepts PS3 ahead. Then again it was only UK that gave 360 a shot at out selling PS3. UK was massive almost 1/3 of all 360's sold. Must be responsible for almost 1/2 of all GoW3 sales too. I am surprised Scandinavia still had higher PS3 sales. Could be the broken street date that dampened the GoW3 effect a bit in those countries.

Why do people expect hardware sales to boost with FIFA release. Last year both PS3 and 360 sales dropped that week according to the info I found on the site.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
