Not bad boost for 360 in EMEAA. I thought 60 to 65K so that's pretty good. 360 will be around 204K with PS3 around 180 K once Japan is in assuming VG isn't too far from Media numbers. Nice boost for Gears launch and PS3 decent too thanks to Japan with Dark Souls.

131k+39k=180k????

YOY

PS2: down 68% - finally irrelevant

Seriously? Considering the state of our PS2 tracking this comparison is rather pointless.

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

Man I was 11k short on my prediction of the 360.

Gears did almost as good as Halo Reach did in EMEAA opening week!

and yet it's a good indication that it's sales are drying up in the parts VGChartz does manage to track.

360: down 8% - Gears almost wiped out the YOY drop from Reach week 2.
PS3: down 30% - price cut effect worn off.
Wii: down 30% - price cut a distant memory, how low can it go?

DS+3DS: up 20% - doing ok.
PSP: down 50% - say no more.

PS2: down 68% - finally irrelevant after 11 years on the market

PS3 should finish 150-170k

360 is about 38k under wht i expected but well deserved. expecting 160k next wk ww.

Talking globally... next week it will be back to approximately pre price cut levels.

The pre price cut base for PS3 was around 130k weekly, some weeks a little less, some weeks a little more. This week with Japan's 39K, it should be around 170k. So starting next week, PS3 will be around 40k lower? Even with EMEAA rising a little bit this week, and with FIFA next week?
