Forums - Sony - Cage: I'd be tempted if Sony wanted to buy Quantic

I see David Cage as not a Games Designer but more a Movie Director who cant break into Movies and movies doesn't allow him to make 10 hour movies, so he makes games that are less game and more movie.

You can play Heavy Rain with your DVD remote, since this is like a DVD remote game on steroids backed and developed with millions of dollars.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Sony economically not in a position to do such a thing.

Someone get CGI in here.

QD really wouldn't cost that much, they've only ever released three games in their history and I don't think they own the rights to the Heavy Rain IP (CGI will know if they do), so price really won't be an issue

I certainly appreciate Cage more for being loyal, I feel this could've turned into another Dark Souls/Demon's Souls, but Cage seems down to earth enough to know that Heavy Rain might not of even been released if Sony didn't support the development

Well I didnt say Sony couldnt afford it...I think that buying a studio right now is not a great signal to the market & investors..You dont really need controlling rights to secure exclusives...loyalty and money goes a long way...moreso the latter
