Im still at Blighttown. Seriously, screw the dude who came up with that map. I don't know if it's only me, but the fps there is horrible and even more so while playing with others. Also, the fact that there is practically no merchant around (haven't seen any yet) makes it one of the most painful levels to go through.Valley of defilement was a walk in the park compared to this, in my opinion.

Ya blight town on my first playthrough was rather frustrating, they should have named it crap town too I mean look at it lol

Where do I find the Havel shield? And also how do u get the the greatshield of artorias?

Havel's Shield is found on Anor Londo, on a chest that's guarded by two Silver Knights. The entire Havel's set is located in that same room too. To get to the room, you need to go up a spiral stairway (located in a hall outside the room where you find Solaire next to a bonfire), then you need to go down one level in the opposite spiral stairway and enter a room to the right, which has a lot of dragon heads displayed as trophies.

To get the Greatshield of Artorias you need to have any shield leveled to +10 and then go to the blacksmith on Anor Londo (located in a room on the left side of the great hall prior to the boss fight) and he'll forge you the shield if you have the Soul of Sif.

@luvtospooge - There are two merchants that appear on Blightown after some conditions are met. One is Shiva of the East, which only appears (next to the water wheel) if you're part of the Forest Hunter covenant and the other one is Quelaana of Izalith, who appears in a pillar right in front of Quelaag's Domain if you have levelled a Pyromancer Flame to +10.

Hello everyone, yesterday I got back to DS (I started teaching Computer Science this week and got through Lost Izalith with a headache. Seriously, whose idea was to bloom the lava SO MUCH on such a dark background? My eyes literaly hurt still! I also beat Bead of Chaos which was easy, although cheap.

I drained the waters in New Londo (love this area), and breezed through Duke's Archives and Crystal Caverns. Trying to beat Seath right now, atuned Resist Curse in my spell array and currently trying to learn its patterns. I also finally forged my Enchanted Falchion +5 (A rating on 52 Intelligence FTW) for some serious melee.

WTF spells stack? If I purchase the duplicate spells from the mages at Firelink, I'll raise my casts???

Yeah, though is you want to use duplicates you'll have to use them in different slots. I'm using 2 Chaos Great Fireball which requires 4 slots, but brings the total cast number to 8. 

Don't forget to cut off Seath's tail.

Will it effect the artorias shield  stats with what type of Shield i upgrade to +10?

lol I only have like 16 str so great shields for me are out of the question!

I've got the option to upgrade my +10 tower kite shield to either a

LIGHTNING TOWER KITE SHEILD or the GREATSHEILD OF ARTORIAS I'm not sure which .
