In a bit of a predicament, which weapon should I make my faith weapon, as of now I have a divine claymore which is rather good, but I'm sure there are more options, so any pointers?

Claymore's are to heavy/STR reliant to be a good Faith build weapon. A Scythe would be a much better choice, if you're looking for a hard-hitting, long range and rather fast weapon. Divine Scythe +10 is bad-ass. Also try looking into a Murakumo, though that will require 28 of Str to wield in one hand.

@Luvtospooge - The magic blacksmith is the one in New Londo. The blacksmith you're missing is near the second bonfire (the hidden behind a illusory wall). From that bonfire, head to the bridge in that path, down to the bottom part of the stairway after the door on that bridge and you'll see that the stairway is broken, though you can see some ledges at the bottom. Roll down to that and keep rolling down to any visible ledge. You'll appear at the top of a broken tunnel, fall down to it and you'll see a cutscene with a weird looking skeleton. That's the blacksmith.

He ascends weapons to Fire and Chaos.

A murakamo you say? 28 str seems like too much of an investment though.. maybe the great scythe?

Great Scythes aren't that good outside PVP, mostly because they have much lower damage than a Scythe and the bleed effect is null on most enemies.

Hm, I suppose I'll use the murakamo then, 28 str here I come. Murakamo is a buy from shiva correct?

You can buy it from Shiva or have it drop from one of the Giant Skeletons.

excellent...

btw I keep hearing of an incoming patch to, "rectify multiplayer" Is there any real clarification on this?

http://www.preparetodie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4766 Yeah, patch 1.04. Supposedly it will nerf some of the IMBAs on PVP, such as lightning weapons being so damn powerful early game and the exaggerated use of TWOP and Ring of Fog. Fog users supposedly are going to be able to be locked-on, which will take care of 99,9% of the cheapness

I'm more interested on the annulment of the Infinite Souls and Magic Weapon glitches (which allows you to enchant unenchanteable weapons) and the improvement of the PVP range.

As long as they do fix all the nonsense then I'll be rather happy lol

In new game +, everything carries on right( Pyromancies, sorceries, miracles, items...etc)? Just like demon's souls?

Yup! So it's important to get as many spells as you can in each playthrough incase you might want more uses out of them. Of course having a dupe spell equipped means it takes up another attunement slot though, but it's worth it in some case.

Ummm im growing tired of Black Knight Sword +5...its good and all but i want a good sword with good elemental damage...talking about elemental damage, does it stack on physical damage? So like 100 physical dmg + 100 fire dmg = 200 total dmg?

I can't seem to play with my cousin, I'm lvl 49 he's 47 and we've done every trick in the book! What to do!?

Just beat new game plus. I came up with the cheapest plan ever to beat Gwyn. I call it the invincibility method.

:)

...How long did it take you guys to finish the first playthrough? 25 hrs? Because Im 50 hours in and I'm at the 4 kings. Hmm maybe im just goofing around too much

70-75? For the first anyways.

Probably like 6 or 7 for my second play through.

Just ran past the firelink shrine and I seen someone cheating. Play the game people it's not that hard >.>
