Question for those who have the platinum. I'm trying to get the rare weapons. Do I have to just make them? They don't need to be like +5 or anything do they?
If I don't then I don't think I need to farm demon titanite at all.

Nope they don't have to be +5. Demon Titanite is only to upgrade the boss souls made weapons, but to get them you only need to upgrade any weapon to +10.
As for your previous question, I didn't use any guide, I just got the weapons as I played (the drop ones). The only help I used was figuring out what were the uses for the bosses souls. I used my own upgrade paths for the Enchanted, Magic, etc. ones
@blkfish92 - It seems you don't need the Ghost Dagger at all, only the Jagged Ghost Blade that's dropped by any common ghost. Hope you get your platinum soon, I'll meet you on PVP when you create your new file as I'll start playing my PVP-build Sorceror.

Nice this isn't that bad then. Mainly just a few things on NG+ and ++

Very odd....maybe I overlooked something because I shouls have all unique weapons then, I'll have a look.

That's odd. It's the same as in the guide too...
I got every weapon in the game, even those not included in the list, just in case. Ricard's Rapier and Dark Sword aren't part of that list, but they seem to be unique weapons too.

I feel dumb I'm missing the stone greatsword!
I need to buy it off of shiva, but if I don't get the trophy then, I will be REALLY confused.

You don't actually need to buy it, the Stone Soldiers drop them on Darkroot Garden. With the Covetous Gold Snake Ring you can get one in 5-10 minutes.
