i know there are some games that come on multiple disc(mainly for 360) i just want to know whats you're opinion on the situation with games being more than 1 disc and do you like it? hate it? is it a deal breaker and you buy it for ps3?

yeah true. only time id care is if ps3 got a game with 2 disc then you know that game is big as crap!

true lol do you plan on getting a ps3/360 anytime soon?

I don't really mind, but it is easier to have everything on one disc and you don't end up losing or breaking one of them.

I don't mind it. Of course, having everything on one disc is better but it only takes a couple of seconds to swap out. On a couple of occasions, I've actually loaned out a disc while I played on the other disc (L.A. Noire, Metal Gear Solid on Gamecube) so it actually turned out to be a benefit.

Getting up to charge a controller, get something to eat, answer a phone, take a dump, or jiggle my Wii component cable (My cheap-o Wii component cables SUCK!) are about as annoying as changing a disc. I'd only complain if content was cut or the game is more expensive. SInce that's not the case, I'm cool with changing discs.

i dont mind it either but im glad 360 is using more disc so the whole game is on there and not cutting content from the ps3 version of the game! but i think new consoles there wont be multi disc unless the game is just freaking HUGE!

While obviously I would prefer a game to come on one single disc, I really don't see the problem people have with games spread over multiple discs. Games like Final Fantasy VII-IX, Metal Gear Solid (including TS remake), Tales of Symphonia, Resident Evil GC remake, Skies of Arcadia, Xenogears, etc are all among my favourite games of all time and would be loved by me no higher if they came on a single disc.

It's a non-issue for me. I do prefer having just 1 disc but more than that isn't a big deal in the least. If there were any games that had a bunch of discs and you had to switch them every 15-30 minutes then I would be annoyed. Thankfully I haven't played a game like that yet.

I actually prefer my games to be digital download the most.

for a xbox player, it seems more like, while it might be slightly unfortunate that it has to be on more than one disk, over all its a good thing because it means the game has lots of content. which is a good thing.
more disks = more game

It sucks because it means the devs/publishers make less money from that game. Also it's just inconvenient.
