DICE is really stressing the fact that console players won't need to worry about having a huge difference in quality between the console version and PC version of Battlefield 3. Some footage taken from the Eurogamer Expo shows there's no need to worry. The demo being shown is the same gameplay we saw in the Operation Guillotine trailer and even off-screen it still looks great.
Just from watching the gameplay you can see just how good everything looks. The lighting is spectacular, the destruction and animation are top notch and so on and so on. Now if we could only find some direct feed of this footage.. The footage shown from the official trailer was actually Xbox 360 footage so this is the first time we've seen this gameplay on the PS3. I keep thinking to myself "the next generation of consoles is right around the corner," but after watching all the footage of Battlefield 3...I think I can safely say these consoles still have a lot of life left in them.
Gamers have a lot to look forward to this October with the release of Battlefield 3 on the 25th. Take a look at the footage below.
