I dont think they will ever remove the always online. Simply because afaik there is no classical SP mode. You are playing practically constantly a closed battlenet game. Your data will be saved on battlenet servers every item you find in single player can be sold for money in the online auction. There is practically no real single player anymore if I remember correctly.

I know and their excuses are outright lying.

We all know they forced always online to push their RMT system.



I thought it was announced years ago for a 2012 release.
