~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
wow the ps3 is back to where it used to be :( what was the point of the small pricecut then if it was just for a minor boost? anyways excellent 360 and 3ds numbers and wii is really dropping down now. and poor resistance 3 just dissapointing numbers from such a great game
The preview said 100k for Resistance 3 and now it's 48k? lol
Game of the year 2017 so far:
5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey
Yes that is a shame, was there a boycott against this game?  Well overall software is really down, I suppose most are just waiting on the big November releases. Excluding Gears of War 3 of course.
Yeah apologies, the data suggested only a 30% drop, (I did think at the time 100k seemed rather high) I'll try and make sure it's more precise next time, I do have to work on prelim numbers that I'm given though.
well alot of people spammed insomniac saying they will never buy there games again after they went multiplatform
Good 3DS and 360 numbers. It's a shame about Resistance, however.
Yeah I heard something about that and the online pass also might have been a factor as well. Hopefully it'll still leg-out some decent lifetime sales. I also expected more from God of War origins.
Can hardly expect super accuracy right out of the gate. I imagine it'll be very hard to get a real handle on Americas numbers for a preview, not quite the same situations as the Japan preview.
Anyway, look at Dead Island holdover. I think right there is your Resistance drop. I just hope those Dead Islanders come around to R3 in a few months...err...maybe next year after they get done with the triple 3's: MW, BF and Uncharted.
Interesting re-entry in the top 40 for The Fight: Lights Out. Has it gone into the $10 bin now?
I know people hate tie ratio, but I would like to mark the occasion that PS3 has hit the double figures for tie ratio. Only 0.3 behind 360, which means PS3 owners are buying games almost at the same rate as 360 gamers. Which is quite the different picture from a few years back.
