PC Gamer's Top 8 Games of 2008

What do you think of their list?  I thing Spore and StarCraft II definitely deserve to be up there.  Here was their list from 2007 by the way and the ratings they got from them.

PC Gamer's Best of 2007 Predictions:

1. Spore [Slipped to 2008]
2. Hellgate: London [89%]
3. Alone in the Dark [Slipped to 2008]
4. Crysis [98%]
5. Supreme Commander [91%]
6. Unreal Tournament 2007 (III) [Not reviewed until the next issue]
7. Command & Conquer 3 [90%]

And then here is their Best of the Rest in 2008:

Uh, wtf, no Orange Box in the 2007 list?

Anyway, Spore, Fallout 3, and Left 4 Dead certainly deserve a spot in the 2008 list. Far Cry 2 will be cool as well.

I thought that Orange Box was not announced before the start of 2007?

I'm not sure about that...I think it had been announced. And if not, Ep. 2 had trailers, and I think TF2's trailer was released...dunno about Portal info.

I know at least Team Fortress 2 was announced by then. I'm not sure if the Orange Box was announced yet though.
