And about the Memory Cards, well I heard if you don't download they are not needed, so I guess it's not a HUGE deal.

Memory Cards aren't needed to save games as they save on the game cartridges themselves.
Battery Life is the same as PSP so not a surprise.

Memory Cards Aren't Needed, besides, when they get to the US or EU, they may be priced cheaper. As for the battery life, It's no biggie, and still that's using highest brightness settings which I don't use :)

not going to lie, i was expecting about 4-6 hrs.
and even though its not good, its not to bad when you think about how powerful it is, and how many pixels its pushing on a 5 inch screen, and it still has the same as the 3DS

It's not at max brightness, it's at the default setting. If you put the brightness higher then battery life will be worse. The estimated time also doesn't use the speakers(only headphones) and it's also with Bluetooth/wifi/3G all off. Using those will also decrease battery life.

I'm pretty sure nintendo's claims for the 3ds are 3hrs with everything on 3d, wifi, max speaker volume, max brightness. And that it increases as you adjust those settings. With sony's claim for the vita who knows how low it could go...

Those are Japan prices, but still will be expensive in the west Sony is surely going to profit from them

Since 99% of handheld gamers dont play handhelds on basic minimum settings, your looking at a pretty bad battery life for the Vita.

The entry price (now noticable compared to the 3Ds currently) combined with the memory card costs might lead to slow sales out the gate.

I mean, it offers great titles and packs a lot of value, aint gonna argue that, but people have their smartphones and if they are gonna buy a dedicated game handheld device, it must have a affordable price and casual appeal.

I see 3DS attaining that more right now.
