I'm almost positive that during the cutscenes on the 3DS, Kojima is going to implement motion controls so that you can pan the screen and spot The Sorrow hiding just off screen. But since then, we've learned that the PSV has motion controls, too. I can't think of any advantage that the 3DS version can have besides the 3D. Both have touch screens. Both have motion. Both are portable. Both have dual analog support. The PSV just offers more content and more content always wins.

Around the Network

Vita. You get multiple games in HD while on the 3DS you get 1. Just a waste of money to buy the MGS3D

Actually from what I understood the HD collection is the same games only in HD, while the 3DS version of MGS3 has some extra features. But I could be wrong.

That's cool, then.  I plan on getting HD Collection on PS3 and Snake Eater on 3DS since it should come out before the PSV.  I won't feel like I'm missing out on anything by skipping the PSV version.

Kojima is a generous man, you never know, the PSV version might come with the PS3 version or at a discount price.
