..sadly, i cant keep watchin', its 3am already.. Dark Souls steals my sleep without beeing released.. its a sign! D:


I think I may have seen too much for now I may just wait the dreaded two weeks.. =l

yeah, i thought it might be too spoiling if i continue to watch, but if i 'only watch' 5-6 hours of play, its fine, since DS will A.) take much longer than that, so there will be enough surprises, and B.) 3 out of 5 hours are repeading area's cuz the players died so often. ;D

to be honest, i dont get that DS vs. Skyrim fight that just goes on and on for weeks now Oo but i guess its good publicity for from software, since we all know SKYRIM will do sell well, while the success of Dark Souls is still unproven. (Okay, i think we all can agree that it will be worth publishing for Bamco, but to what extent?)

however, seeing many 360 Sites hyping DS makes me happy. i guess 360 really deserved to be also hosting the spiritual successor to Demons souls. =]

 

i hereby predict the Sales of Dark Souls:

----------------------PS3 / 360

1 week WW: 250k/100k

10week WW: 400-450k/150-200k

LT WW: ------- 1,4-1,5m / 500-600k

 

i think it will sell pretty solid on 360, however PS3 will overshadow it by a lot. Why? I think the kind of Gamer that is into dark souls, doesnt rarely posess both Consoles. And since they have bought Demon's for PS3 since there was no other option before, they'll just continue to buy it for that system. the final number a year later for both systems combined is around 1,75m - 2,1m. (.. so funny, From Software was always a company, that wasnt really successful until now, and the SOULS games changed all that xD)

however, i'd be gladly proven wrong in a good way!

It's good to see this Dark Souls vs Skyrim nonsence too, especially the fact that ign is praising dark Souls A LOT is awesome!

Its so funny how From Software sure expections more than a million of Copies sold.. i mean.. they were such a small company not so long ago. ^^

but i was always a fan of them, since they didnt give a damn to westernization, while the big ones try to change themselves to something they arent, just to appeal to western customers.

From Software all the way! (Funfact: i am soooo looking forward to Armored Core V! too!)
