Yep. Once you hit the "Embed" button and that textbox with automatically generated code shows up, there are a few checkboxes underneath it as well. Make sure the "Use old embed code" checkbox is checked (enabled).

I guess this goes here...

When trying to embed a video from youtube if it does have the "feature=player_embedded" line somewhere it doesn't work.

Example:

Quote this post to see the second video between this line and the first video (both are the same).

Thanks for the tip, "thing!" I'll add this to the OP.

It looks like all the "&feature=something" make embed crash, not only the one I said:

I can cook up a Windows based mini-program in about 5-10 minutes to do this if you guys want.

In the wysiwyg editor, you can use the insert/edit embedded media, and paste the youtube url.

I think someone has mentioned this to me before and it is the easiest of the options available. Though, that would put me in a position where I can't "show off" my internet chops .

I'll add a section on that tonight or at lunch. Thanks for the reminder!


The problem with this method is that the button and the embedded video disappear when you want to edit, it's a strange bug.
