I am trying to understand what is so evil about Flower, that they would use it as a background video of a game that is indoctrinating kids.  Again, the subject header question.

I have a problem with Fox News and their militant anti-liberal agenda...apparently it's evil to care about the environment, care about one another, and look after one another. I have a problem with aggressive selfishness and ignorance. I have a problem with hardcore republicans who honestly follow the logic of "if you're not my friend, you are my enemy", as though there was no middleground.

fox news makes enemies of everyone who is even remotely liberal, and I have a problem with that. Liberals can be ignorant too, but at least they generally care about one another.

Totally agree here.

But, questioning the government during the Bush administration (Patriot Act, a war against a country that had nothing to do with 9/11) = you are anti-patriotic.

Questioning the government during the Obama administration = being a good citizen that likes small government excercising freedom of speech.

It seemed like before the Bush administration, Democrats and Republicans could be in the same room and be civil.  It seems that's not the case anymore.  Maybe it had something to do with "With us or against us" attitude that the Bush administration was pushing.  Everyone who questioned the motives of the Iraq war after most people agreeing that we needed to go after Bin Laden were declared enemies of the state.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

because FOX is really concerned its viewers might be exposed to something with a severe bias...

What bias does Flower have, outside of it having windmills in it?

It promotes environmentalism and eco-friendly energy, rather than promoting chopping down forests and oil rafineries. The game makes you empathize with nature, rather than with big corporations who want to exploin natural resources and polute the environment. Is it not obvious?

This nailed it. Off topic, I don't think I have ever met a person who has an ounce of respect for Fox news. The most shallow, biased, narrowminded, ridiculous excuse for a News source on this planet. There is a difference between being brain washed by the media, and having ridiculous right wing BS shoved down your throat. Even the most hillbilly racist redneck hicks can't stand watching Fox News.

Someone has to be watching it.  Of all the cable news channels, it usually gets the highest ratings for the shows.  These individuals go around the blogosphere and rah-rah this and that.  They will then go into forums like this.  And now with the Tea Party about, they go out to there, and get energized and back certain campaigns and get people elected.  The people that do are part of the 365/24 political cycle, which is non-stop.  They are fanboys of a viewpoint, and will let nothing get in their way.  The average person will end up not being that focused, but the fanboys do.

Well, I think Joseph Goebbels would be proud of Fox News.

miss (or sir, your avatar doesn't help matters),  I think that reference is just a touch too sophisticated for a videogame forum.

Sir is correct.  I just love Rydia.

Probably true, but just replace the word "liberal" for the word he says that describes people who follow a certain religion, and you get the picture.
