I don't think so. I'm going with one of two scenarios:

1) They announce Pokemon for January or Spring, and that a Monster Hunter title is coming to the 3DS (biggest impact in Japan, Pokemon would drive sales up WW)

2) Mario Kart 3DS bundle for the holidays

Nintendo is notorious for handheld hardware revisions.......im surprised people even buy the first iteration when we all know a revision is in the works.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Ever since PS3 is loosing to Wii/360 and PSP lost to DS sony fans just try to find any angle they can to bash Nintendo and MS.

I seriously hope not. It would be one of the worse decisions Nintendo could possibly make.

I believe there will be an eventual redesign at some point, just like there will be an eventual Vita redesign. I don't believe it will take the form of what has been suggested in these rumours, nor that it will be coming in the very immediate future.

Who is behind that website and have they ever said anything credible? Is this their first "big scoop"? The 13th is right around the corner and any hits they're getting for posting this story is going to turn into bad blood once the truth come out in about 10 days. Nobody will ever believe them again.
