i know right i wish i can stop time LOL

I'm just in it for the campaign. I'm probably in the minority but I absolutely love the story in Gears of War. It's pretty underrated, in my opinion. Anyway, I'll probably play the campaign at least three times (once, solo and once online) and again on one of the harder difficulties when I'm bored. After that, I think I'm done.

Maybe I'll get into the online this time but I doubt it.

Probably not. I've never been big on Gears of War for some reason even though I love third-person games. My time will be spent mainly on Assassin's Creed and Uncharted 3. It's too bad Mass Effect 3 got delayed to March otherwise I'd be all over it.

It's not that far away, now. I'm going to begin my playthrough of Gears 1 and Gears 2 tonight. Gotta get ready for the return of the series that defned this gen for me.

Uhhh. No. Skyrim will fill that position and Gears sits behind 4 others if not more I want to play more. Still I am sure it will be great.

I will not let it take all my time, have a lot of stuff to do this year ...And also have around 20 pre orders before the end of the year;...

I think you would be surprised actually.  I am in the same boat, as are alot of my friends on 360.  I have played through the campaigns of the first 2 about 3 or 4 times each and will do the same on the third no doubt.  

OT:  I think Skyrim will take up alot of my time this year,  whether the number of hours it takes up tops the number of hours I have spent in Minecraft remains to be seen,  as I have spent over 800 hours alone in Minecraft this year as of this past weekend.   Especially since I run my own server.

I'm playing the second now and I am on the last chapter, I really can't get into it though. I haven't tried horde or any multiplayer yet, hopefully that will raise my opinion on Gears of War. I like the mechanics and style of the game, it's just I find the campaign so boring and the characters and dialogue immature.

I'll pick up the third, for the improved graphics and multiplayer, but WHEN I get it depends on how the last chapter and multiplayer modes impress me.

i'm a die hard Gears fan but yea i don't like the Gears story, the first one was ok the 2 one was focused to much on Maria and not on the story until she dies, but the MP is were it's at anf that's were all my time is going to be at.
