no buttons? no contest...

Asking for a consumer to buy an Apple TV and an iPad to compete with the Wii U is even more ridiculous than Sony asking consumers to buy a PS3 and a Vita to compete with Wii U

and either way, such comparisons are irrelevant, for reasons stated by others in this thread

yeah when was the last time you actually heard about a good major game being developped for apple (and I'm not talking about a app game I can play for free on flash game websites) ??? and when was the last time a touchepad had anything close to good spec for real gaming in their hardware.... at a price tag that can compete with a console????
people get real Apple products are just eye candies with no proper use beside show for that price..... (the fact that you like the OS is another issue that has nothing to do with the product itself)....

without saying that people with Ipad and Iphones are still a huge minority how many among them are actually gamers.... and among those gamers how many would have bought a console if iPhone or iPad or that iCrap didn't exist.... bottom line it is a dream that only apple fan believes this is a company that has been around for more than 3 decades and look at there market penetration...... now look at google...... yeah still not worried by the rotten apple.....

Gaming Media is no longer exciting.. This article proves it.

Basically, all the issues of Apple becoming dominant with the iPad and Apple TV have been addressed already by other users. It is a bit troubling when the media just depends on controversial titles to get more hits. This article does a piss poor job in reporting. They completely ignore any faults/limitations with the Apple products.

Wii U:
-has buttons that increase what you're able to do...
-is a lot more powerful and can create vastly more complex AI, many more on-screen NPCs, and incredibly higher-detailed graphics...
-will 100% assuredly have more than five or six quality titles made utilizing this feature...

...all unlike iPad.

Anyone who thinks ANY tablet can beat ANY video game console for gaming.......is just delusional. It's that simple. But of course the iClones will say "But, but, but iPad outsold Wii U" Even though they are complete different applications. But in regards to gaming....not even close. Wii U will blow iPad away when it comes to games sales.

And will even be Motion plus compatible!

Even though I'm not a fan of the Wii U I'd buy that over an iPad any day.

Since when is cheaper a positive argument for the Apple fans?
