Look at the sales.
The consumeres were caught off-guard. If they knew that there is price cut incoming a lot of those people who bought this past 3 weeks would have hold off on buying the PS3 and we would have seen a larger bump from the price cut. Still we should wait for next week on how PS3 will fare.
