Smash Brothers Melee outsold Mario Kart Double Dash if you don't count the 800k Double Dash bundle sales. Brawl will outsell Kart Wii

I'd probably say Mario kart, but SSBB is the biggest exclusive both hype and marketing wise Wii has, meaning it is almost guaranteed to sell more. But it'll be close. I can see both SSBB and Mario kart Wii being 10x platinum.

As much as I want it to be brawl, I think MK will take it easily. Mario Kart games don't need any hype at all. Just watch it get released to steady sales until the Wii is dead. They will both do very well in the US and Japan but in Europe, no contest. They really love their Mario Kart.

Super Mario Smash Kart Brawl is gonna win by a landslide!!!!!!11!!111111one11!

On the for realz tho, Mario Kart. It will appeal the to the 'non-gamer' segment that is one of the primary reasons Wii is selling so well. You know the people who own Wii Sports, Wii Play, and maybe one other sport/GHIII/ or simple game.

Personally I am not buying SSBB, but I am all over Mario Kart.

OT: I think Mario Kart.

Because Europe tends to buy the most racing games. For the past two generations, Europe has bought very little Nintendo systems. This generation that is no longer the case, so they could really sway which the it goes.

I say Mario Kart does, since I think it has more casual appeal

I think part of that is because Melee was a step up from Smash Bros. Whereas Double Dash was a step down from Mario Kart 64.

Kart, cause chicks dig kart.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

I gotta go with MK, but a better question will be which one will move more consoles. I have to go with SSBB, more people will buy a Wii just for that game. MK has always been a series that you just buy the game if you have the console. No to many people buy a console JUST for MK

I think part of that is because Melee was a step up from Smash Bros. Whereas Double Dash was a step down from Mario Kart 64.

And Brawl will be a huge step up from Melee while MK won't be nearly as big as a step up.
