Just like the E3, Tokyo Game Show is usually more fun before the event, mostly because of the rumors and crazy things around it. So here you go:

[ ] 4 Warriors of Light 2, 3DS
[ ] Monster Hunter Tri G, 3DS
[ ] Miku Hatsune (SD style), 3DS
[ ] New Shining game using Valkyria systems and characters from Shining Hearts, PSP
[x] Sega has a Layton-like game but with rhythm action instead of puzzles, to be announced at TGS.
[ ] Bayonetta 2 is in development and is planned for release at the same time as a theatrical Bayonetta CG movie.
[ ] Vita launch later this year, Monster Hunter 3rd HD will be announced at TGS to be a launch title.
[ ] DQ10 is being designed as an MMO-like game.

Well at least one of these rumors is real:

Today's Famitsu announced a new game from Sega. It's called Rhythm Thief R: Emperor Napoleon's Legacy, and it's for the 3DS. It's a mix of a rhythm action game and an adventure game, and will use the gyroscope. It's coming out this Winter.

I hope Sony payed Capcom for Monster Hunter exclusivity(or at least timed). They'd be stupid to let their PSP system-seller end up on the competing handheld. Monster Hunter could be the Vitas killer-app in Japan.

If its also on 3DS then why would someone buy a Vita?

Can you imagine the 3DS having Pokemon AND Monster Hunter!?

That would certainly throw the outcome up in the air, but would likely lean things in Nintendo's favor given everything else Nintendo has going for them in the market that Sony does not. PSP's resurgance in the Japanese market was due to third party support that migrated there after Monster Hunter became big there, and it would depend on how much of that third party support, aside from Monster Hunter, carries over.
