I don't even know anymore what's argued about in here. So it's okay to stop making games that the market is willing to buy (which is what Nintendo has been doing)?

It depends. Some people (a lot actually) rant about how Activision should stop milking the damn CoD franchise and pursue originality. My take is Nintendo, for some reason, is given more leeway in this regard.

Milking is the other extreme, which is making more than the market can sustain, eventually leading to a substandard product everyone is sick of.

If we go by how Black Ops is selling and how MW3 is being pre-ordered, is hard to argue that we've reached critical mass.

I didn't mean CoD was doing that right now. I meant that past occurences of milking had led to that.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Well Iwata has not been fired yet , so that did not happen. I know which president of Nintendo should be let go though....
Other companies are saying the wii U is very good, so what is all this about cheap chips and other problems?

Well it might be the standard gaming chips are good (processors, RAM, etc.), but the parts for the tablet streaming are not up to what is needed, as this kind of tech might not be ready for the cost Nintendo wants to sell this at.
