I used to collect baseball cards (A LOT) and the other sports too (just not as much), comic books (found a stash in a box) manga, and a lot of precious moments figurines. I think the last one is the most perplexing for people to understand but I used to have a lot of them :D I recently gave away a lot of my anime figures, wall scrolls and the like to some kids that were in my anime club at my school but I also used to collect that.

I have a lot of sports cards, but sadly they were made in the 90's and 80's mostly when cards were everywhere! So the 2-3 thousand I have are probably worth 500 bucks mabye. We will see what happens in another 20!

I know! Between my brother and myself (since he now lives in another state I combined his cards with mine) we did have some cards older than the 80s but not pristine! We had a '58 Mickey Mantle and a '79 Paul Molitor/Alan Trammel for instance but most of our favorites are from the 80s and 90s including the Ken Griffey RC! Sucks that none of our cards are graded to find their true value, I even have a John Elway RC!  I'll just have to hope that a lot of these will find some value at some point in the future heh

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I know you said Ken Griffey, but Ken Griffey Jr. was my favorite card to get. AS he is my favorite player!

Clearly I meant Ken Griffey Jr haha, my favorite player was Mike Mussina, wish he would have gotten his ring even if it was with the yankees.

Over the years I have collected many things.

Pokemon memorobelia (The TCG cards the gold plated cards the games for Nintendo systems. The toys. Even the Anniversary issue of Nintendo Power that talked about 10 years of Pokemon)

Starwars stuff - I own currently somewhere in storage the origional record sound track to the first StarWars film. All three movies on VHS the origional copies. 32 in package air sealed mint condition action figures. Including two whole sets. All the movies on DVD.

BeyBlades - Back in the day I had every legal Beyblade and I collected every counterfit one I could find. I played for keeps with a modified metal blade. So with very little money I was able to collect tons. I had a massive collection of like 30-40 blades. Until they got stolen.

Digimon Cards - briefly I collected Digimon cards though my couple hundred cards went missing some time ago. No clue what ever happened to em.

Burger King and McDonalds toys - I collected tons of the 101 Dalmations toys. I tried collecting tons of sets of toys from all the series. Unfortunetly they took up space and were pretty much worthless so my mom got rid of them.

I loved collecting. I recently debated to collect video games and machines but think its to expensive and I live in a small apartment so I can't really accumulate as much stuff as I used to when I lived with my mom!

I collect gamR points...[evil face]

Comics...expensive too. Well collecting is a weird term as I say collecting to justify it I guess but I only really buy new comics nowadays, so really I just read comics. If I collected them I'd guess I'd have to go out of my way to acquire older issues from eBay or shops...

Hmm, pie.

I collect coins, but nothing serious.

Used to collect:

Pokemon Cards
Pokemon Figurines (Thoses were the fuckin best)
Transformers figurines
