I have about 200 comic books, found them in a storage locker. some old some new it seems. My step son loves some 80-90s british band that is pretty popular he has a lot of their stuff. Why can't I remember what it is I certainly bought enough of it for him!

Maybe Oasis or Blur.

I have drawn a blank...The Smiths?

Yes, The Smiths from Morrisey and Marr. Have some music from them

I collect my misery,like everyday.

I collect Transformer reissues from Gen 1 only (the ones from the '80s. I couldn't care less about Gen 2 to present day figures). Companies like Takara and Encore re-released several of the original figures with the same retro box art and many of these figures (particularly the 21 Takara Japanese reissues with the Dreamwave art) are now worth hundreds of dollars if C10 and unopened, though that doesn't really matter to me as I don't ever plan on selling them.

It's mostly a nostalgia thing for me and they're for display purposes only, although the kid in me is just dying to open them, transform them a few times and apply the stickers, but I've refrained from doing so thus far.

LPs/CDs (probably around 3000, don't know exactly)

Comic books (around 600, mostly FrancoBelgian ones like Tintin, Asterix, Iznogoud, Moebius' comics etc.)

DVDs (it used to be more than 900, but in a first of several steps I recently gave away more than 200 of them to my nephew, my niece and her boyfriend - in the long run I plan to only keep around 300 of the classics like my Laurel & Hardy / Charlie Chaplin / Buster Keaton / Tom & Jerry / Marx Brothers / Thin Man / Alfred Hitchcock / Arthur Penn / Sergio Leone / Francois Truffaut / Billy Wilder / Ernst Lubitsch / Woody Allen / Stanley Kubrick / Cary Grant / Audrey Hepburn etc. movies - the kids wouldn't want those anyway

I wouldn't call myself a collector though. Music, movies and - to a lesser extent - European comic books are just 3 things I love.

@spurgeonryan: Your step son has good taste. The Smiths were one of the best UK indie bands of the 80s (and the most influential one which explains why they still have new and young fans 24 years after their split).

Hmm I just realized I dont collect anything and never have. But I would love to see this Transformers Collection I loved these as a kid (also Ghostbuster Action Figures) and the comic book collection of okr.

I used to collect baseball cards (A LOT) and the other sports too (just not as much), comic books (found a stash in a box) manga, and a lot of precious moments figurines. I think the last one is the most perplexing for people to understand but I used to have a lot of them :D I recently gave away a lot of my anime figures, wall scrolls and the like to some kids that were in my anime club at my school but I also used to collect that.

I used to collect pokemon cards, have a bunch of 1st gen/1 edition pokemon cards, some are 1st edition japanese

When I get my own place I will probably buy every volume of Berserk and Gantz manga.
