and What about Sony and the Ps3? Sony has gone through more debt to keep the PS3 on the market for the price it has been at, and it's a more expensive console to manufactur. The 360 is a rather cheap system to make, it's a very basic and old computer design, it's no longer cutting edge tech like it used to be. I mean I could build and buy a PC with a case, 750GB hard drive, and all the required parts for $300 and it would outperform the 360. That shouldn't be, the purpose of consoles is to severly undercut the PC market and deliver a dedicated gaming system at an affordable price.

Next week I want to compare the Gears 3 spike to the Halo Spike, so don't be late that week. :P

Looks like with the boost in sales due to Gears of War 3, 360 will still only just outsell itself one year ago. Boost doesn't look to be as big as Halo: Reach, but at least after this week, we will start to see higher sales from the holiday boost.

Most likely, unless we get a price drop on the 360. I still think overall, the sales will be down for the total. The Wii will probably still sell more then we expect it to do during the last 6 weeks of the year.
