3DS dominated in Japan.
I wonder if Halo Reach can keep selling like this for the rest of the year.

I hope that with the PS3 price cut, GT5 get a little boost.
Donkey Kong Country Returns will cross the 5million mark in 2-3 weeks!
Well deserved!

On the software side Legend of Zelda OoT has become the 3DS first million seller. Infamous 2 is divebombing off the charts. Really dissapionting honestly its a fantastic game. Halo Reach still haveing awesome legs. Should be over 10 million sometime early next year. |
Vastly undertracked, would you say?...or not so much?
Either 3ds numbers in the west is severely undertracked, or the 3ds sold near to zero units just before the drop.

With Tales of Xillia and Monster Hunter HD coming on the PS3 it can only go up. Tales of Xillia should be quite the system seller considering it's the first real Tales of game on the PS3 and there's a bundle. Also there's the price cut. The Wii doesn't have much new softwares coming soon so I guess it might go down from here on out. |
Xillia will be a system seller in that there is a limited edition bundle available for it, but other than that I can't imagine that it would have a significant boost for the PS3. Just because you say that it's the first real Tales of game for the PS3 doesn't mean all the Tales of fans haven't moved over to the PS3 by now. It's already had Vesperia (with extra content) and Graces (with extra content). Any Tales of fan who wanted to play them on the PS3 would surely have moved over by now.
It's also a good thing that Namco is lowering the price of the Tales of Xillia PS3 console bundle by 5,000 yen in accordance with the PS3 price drop. It was initially announced to be selling for 37,980 yen, but now it will sell for 32,980 yen (according to the ToX website). Otherwise it would have looked to be way overpriced (compared to a standard 160gb PS3)
