I figured out your problem.

LOL

Yeah maybe its time for a 360 or PS3, or PSP.

Yup, if you have trouble to keep attention, then shorter games may be a good solution.

So people that play only on those consoles has ADD?

yes exactly... anybody that plays on any console without nintendos seal on it has ADD because nintendo games are the only games with depth and imagination and wonder and all that stuff...

I'd argue that Nintendo makes more games for people with short attention spans than Sony at least. They have many "jump-in-and-play-for-a-few-minutes" games.

no, no, no... as rolstoppable said here

games on other platforms are shorter... and that actually makes sense when you come to the realisation that nintendo games are the only games with depth and imagination and wonder and all that stuff

It's very true.

The ending of Wii Sports made me all teary eyed, I didn't want the game to end.

I feel this way to but I figured out what was wrong. The japanese presence on consoles have died down considerable to me. Im a huge JRPG fan and their existence on consoles has been really flat. FFXIII was a disappointment to me and now that my 60GB died I can't even enjoy going back to play some of my PS2 RPGs. The last game I invested hours into was inFamous 2. Im slowly playing BioShock 2 and while it's good I don't find myself investing hours into it. I think you just need something fresh. Today I picked up Enslaved and Im hoping it can tide me over until I can find a place that is selling Catherine.

But for me the lack of JRPGs are killing me.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

If you have an XBOX 360 you should check out Tales of Vesperia, it's an excellent game, very unique.

don't worry it's pretty common to feel that way. I had the same feeling this year, didn't played anything from January to June. Every time I tried to play something I felt I was wasting my time and that I should be doing something else. Maybe you just met someone or prefer to socialize more.

Anyway, all of a sudden in June I started to play again and I'm enjoying it a lot! Just take a break from gaming and you'll see.

HAHA!!

Like others have said, I think it's time to try something new, or buy another system.

Another thing is it may be the fact that this gen is i it's twilight, and it's time for new consoles. Once you've played so much of one generation, it feels like you play the same thing until new consoles arrive. I usually get that vibe around the 5th year of a generation, you may be experiencing that now.

Just wait until the Wii U, and PS4/NextBox arrive, and see if the magic returns.

Your problem is probably that you're starting to have a life. Lose it. Having useful things to do gets in the way of gaming.

But seriously, you don't need to play games. It's a hobby, not a chore. If you don't feel like, don't do it until you do feel like again. It happens to me sometimes and I don't worry about it. I stop for a couple of months and when I feel like I go back.
