Surely above the Japanese numbers which were obviously disappointing for Nintendo.

But Nintendo seems totally clueless that JRPGs actually sell better in NA than in Japan. I remember an article about the localization of JRPGs where someone at Nintendo said that there's no market for JRPGs in NA. How ignorant.

It's even worse when you factor in their double standard. There is definitely no market for "no games" in NA, but that's exactly what NoA keeps releasing.
